Donald Trump: "I Think I Understand Tiger"

Tiger Woods has already announced that he’ll play in the Masters next week, but his next television appearance might be a reality show!

When asked if Tiger would be appearing on Donald J. Trump’s Fabulous World Of Golf, the new Golf Channel series where celebs and athletes compete head to head for their favorite charities, Donald Trump smiled and told OK!, “We’ll see.”

Trump’s been a longtime friend of Tigers and was one of the first advocates to say he needed to get back to golf.
“Well Tigers a friend of mine,” Trump told OK!. “I really like Tiger a lot. I know Tiger. I think I understand Tiger. He’s been through a lot. I really think that there’s tremendous pressure you wouldn’t understand from the world of golf, but this tremendous pressure that’s being put on Tiger, if he can circumvent that pressure he’s going to do fantastically during the masters.”

He added, “I tell you, he has always handled pressure well but nobody’s ever had this kind of pressure. He’s going to have Super Bowl type ratings.”

Trump, who’s had his own experience with infidelity in the past, admitted it would be hard for Tiger to repair his home life with Elin.
“I think it’s very, very tough to go back into a relationship where that happens especially when its one after the other,” he told OK!. “I mean every day it’s a new one. I think it’s a very hard thing to do to go back.”

He also commented that rehab may not be the solution.
“Well everybody that gets caught in an affair seems to be entering rehab,” Trump said. “I never entered rehab.”

Donald J. Trump’s Fabulous World Of Golf premiers April 26 on the Gold Channel. Trump told OK! he’s looking forward to the matchup with Tom Brady and Peyton Manning and that celebrities like Justin Timberlake might appear on the show as well.
