Flavor Flav Arrested and Jailed For Felony Assault Charges in Las Vegas

Flavor Flav was arrested early this morning on felony assault and battery charges stemming from an argument he got into with his fiance, including allegedly threatening to attack her son with a knife.

The reality star was arrested in Las Vegas at around 3:30 a.m. and is being held on a $23,000 bail.

The musician and reality star has managed to stay in the news for several decades. Flava first rose to fame as one of the founding members of Public Enemy and then found himself a household name with an entirely new generation when he co-starred on VH-1's The Surreal Life, Strange Love and Flavor of Love.

This isn't the first time the entertainer has found himself on the wrong side of the law. In May Flava found himself in hot water for not paying child support for three of his seven kids, an act the judge called a "willfull violation."
