Not gonna lie, Ravenswood's first five episodes kinda freaked me out, so when series stars Britne Oldford and Brett Dier broke the news that the next five are going to be even spookier, well, let's just say I won't be watching those alone. OK! caught up with the cast at ABC Family's 25 Days of Christmas party in New York where Britne and Brett talked ghost sightings, cemeteries and, oh yeah, the holidays!
Not gonna lie, the first five episodes of Ravenswood completely freaked me out, so when series stars Britne Oldford and Brett Dier mentioned the second half of the season is even spookier, I made a mental note to never watch the show alone again when it returns on January 7. OK! caught up with the cast at ABC Family's 25 Days of Christmas event in New York where Brett and Britne chatted about their haunted apartment building, sleep paralysis and, oh yeah, the holidays!
OK!: How are you guys spending the holidays this year?
Britne Oldford: I’m going back to Toronto where I’m from to see all of my family and we’re doing a Chrismukkah thing. I’m cooking the turkey and the whole meal. I’m trying to figure the amount of people—it’s growing and growing and growing. I’m going to be prepping more and more days in advance.
Brett Dier: I’m going skiing and then hanging out with my parents and then I’m going to LA to go to Disneyland. I’m excited.

OK!: What can you reveal about the second half of the season?
BD: A lot of your questions will be answered in the next five episodes.
BO: You’re going to learn a lot more about each character and what’s going on in their lives. Everything is constantly evolving.
BD: It gets more intense and more spooky.

OK!: Do any of the locations you film at in New Orleans spook you?
BD: I believe in ghosts now because of New Orleans. I never did before. I was so skeptical but now I’ve seen one, which sounds insane but it’s true.
BO: For me I haven’t found New Orleans too creepy. I definitely don’t really go out walking at night by myself. The one thing I think is really interesting is I don’t think the vibe of the show would be what it is if we weren’t filming there.
OK!: I've heard the apartment building you guys are living in is haunted, have you had any supernatural experiences?
BO: Yeah, we both had sleep paralysis while we were there. I had it before when I was a little kid. Most nights the light above my oven would turn on and I checked if there was a timer and there wasn’t.
BD: I’ve seen a ghost in my bathroom with no face, this is true by the way, and I had a yo-yo that rolled up a hill in my apartment. My place is a little slanted. I have no idea how that happened.

OK!: You guys must be really comfortable in cemeteries now.
BO: I’ve always loved cemeteries since I was a kid. They’re very calm.
BD: And the ones in New Orleans are above ground and they’re pretty cool.
Ravenswood returns to ABC Family on Tuesday, January 7 at 9/8c.
