As OK! first reported, Joe Exotic asked President Donald Trump to pardon him for his 22-year murder sentence. Now, the reality star has submitted a 257-page document where he claims he was sexually assaulted while behind bars. “I have been sexually assaulted by jail staff, beat up and tied in a chair to the point the skin came off my arms,” the 57-year-old claimed. “Please be my hero ... My hands are damaged from the abuse in jail so I’m sorry for the soppy sic writing and spelling. #TrumpJr2024.”

“I was tied in a chair (for) so long the skin came off my arms ... and then locked in a room naked for eight days sleeping on a cold metal shelf on the floor with dried feces and sperm on it from so many others before me,“ he said. “There is no mental help there — it’s just abuse.“

As a result, Joe — whose real name is Joseph Allen Schreibvogel — has lost a lot of weight in prison. In fact, he went from 179 pounds to 150 pounds. “He has talked a lot about the abusive conditions in prison in all the fan mail he answers,“ a source told OK!. “I know that he has lost 33 pounds and that the prison denied him treatment for his medical conditions for months and his health is not good, which is another reason it’s critical for him to be pardoned.“

The zookeeper is hoping to be free in no time. “Regarding Joe’s appeal, he filed it in April of this year and his lawyers are currently working on that, in addition to the pardon efforts,“ sources exclusively told OK!. “He has a huge team of high-profile lawyers that have taken his case on a pro bono basis. Other volunteers are managing his social media and fan groups, all pro bono.“
