Johnny Depp is busy promoting his new film The Rum Diary and stopped by to chat with David Letterman Thursday night on the Late Show. The seasoned actor, who knows a thing or two about being a leading Hollywood heartthrob, dedicated a portion of his interview with Dave to Justin Bieber! That's right — Johnny talked all about being a Belieber and what his first encounter was like with the 17-year-old singing sensation.

Dave asked Johnny if his daughter loved Justin.
"Oh yes, she does, but I'm not sure anyone's daughter doesn't," Johnny quipped.
He then shared a story about the first time he met The Biebs.
"I've met the young man, a very sweet kid. He was playing a concert and my daughter Lily-Rose was desperate to go. So we got tickets and passes. And I brought her to the show and introduced them and it was quite astonishing to see your daughter in kind of this frozen state," he explained.

"Do you remember when you were fascinated like that," Dave asked.
"No," Johnny said bluntly, leaving the audience laughing.
So when was Johnny first introduced to the term Belieber? While doing a press conference for his animated flick Rango and a journalist asked him if he was a "Belieber."
"I was confused and then 'aahh' synapse fired and I understood what he was saying. So I said, 'Yes of course, I'm a huge Belieber. And then about 3.5 seconds later to the right of the room Justin Bieber enters."
"How does that happen," Dave questioned.

"Exactly, I don't know if we summoned him up," Johnny quipped.
