Welcome to New Tunes Tues, where I tell you what newly released songs/albums/music videos etc require your attention immediately. This week's is right in time for New Year's Eve, so you may or may not want to add a few of these new tracks to your NYE playlist so your friends think you're so ahead of the curve. Here's new releases to know from Nick Jonas (sans Brothers), Nicki Minaj, Lea Michele and more:

Drake, "Trophies." Drizzy made like Beyonce and dropped two brand new tracks out of nowhere, one of which is the angry-sounding "Trophies." I like the beat and I like the chorus but the verses don't sound enough like  a Drake verse for me to like them. I can't be the only one who thinks that...

Karmin, "I Want It All." Ever since the Jonas Brothers broke up, their opening act Karmin has probably had a bit more time on their hands. So, the engaged pop duo decided to put out new music! This single certainly isn't as catchy as "Brokenhearted" but I'm kind of into the disco feel.

Nick Jonas, "Break The Silence." And speaking of the JoBros, this Nick Jonas track leaked and it's unclear whether it's a demo from a few years ago or recorded in 2013. Either way, it's new to the internet, and it seems pretty relevant to what's going on with that whole Jonas Brothers breakup thing, right? So it's totally new in my book.

Lea Michele, "Battlefield." I totally get that the Glee star is going for diva-like ballads on her debut album, but I just feel like I want more from Lea. Her voice is unreal, I just wish her songs were as amazing as her vocals, you know? Don't hate me. Here's Lea's newest song, the follow-up to "Cannonball," nonetheless:

Nicki Minaj ft. PTAF, "Boss Ass Bitch."  I was wondering what Nicki Minaj has been doing all year aside from, you know, feuding with Mariah Carey, and obviously she wouldn't let us forget about her and decided to release a new song before the year is up. Warning: FOUL LANGUAGE AHEAD:
