Nicole Kidman: I Was Totally Smitten By Tom Cruise And We Lived In A Bubble

Nicole Kidman is happily married to husband Keith Urban with two adorable little girls, but the Oscar-winning star is still known for her decade-long marriage to Tom Cruise.
The Australian actress opened up to DuJour magazine about the still-famous union and said that she was "totally smitten" with the Mission Impossible star.

"I fell madly, passionately in love," the 45-year-old said of her newly divorced ex-husband. "I was reeling with Tom. I would have gone to the ends of the earth for him."
The couple met on the set of Days of Thunder in 1989 and married a year later. But after adopting two kids; Bella and Conor and ten years of marriage, the pair called it quits.

But reflecting back on the relationship, The Paperboy star says she "was so impulsive and naive" when she met Tom but that they developed an incredible bond.
"We were in a bubble," she explained. "Just the two of us. We became very dependent on one another."
After being single for a few years while she got over the breakdown of the relationship, Nicole says she came through the dark period ready and open to finding someone new.

"I realized I didn't want to be alone," she shared. "I wanted to fall in love again, but I wan't sure I could."
But enter Keith Urban into her life who swept her off her feet after they met filming Fur in 2006 and married just months later.
"My life changed," Nicole gushed. "He is a wonderful, caring man and he makes me feel secure. We don't ever like to be separated."

Nicole gave birth to Sunday Rose four years ago and welcomed Faith Margaret via a surrogate in 2010.
"Having my baby has been a healing experience," The Hours star admitted. "It took me so long to have a child. I feel enormous gratitude. Sunday has healed an enormous amount in me. It's a very private thing, but she just has."
"Before, I was running away from life. Now I embrace it. You never know how long you have. So I cherish every minute."
