There are probably no actors in Hollywood right now doing more to promote their film than the cast of New Moon, but even all the press junkets and fan meet-and-greets couldn't keep star Kristen Stewart from coming out to L.A.'s Dodger Stadium on Sunday to kick off the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation's Walk to Cure Diabetes. "It's amazing to be around such inspiring people," the Twilight star said during her brief speech before cutting the ribbon with boxing legend Sugar Ray Leonard.
Former Charmed actor Dorian Gregory, who has had diabetes for two decades, was also on-hand for the event and told OK! that he's glad to have someone of Kristen's star-power bringing attention to the JDRF's cause.
"It’s amazing what celebrities can do as far as bringing out more attention," he explained. "It's wonderful, and I thank Kristen for it."
