Tiger Woods Emerging from Hiding to Help Haiti?
Jan. 14 2010, Published 6:03 a.m. ET
Tiger Woods is reportedly surfacing to lend a helping hand to earthquake-ravaged Haiti. Russell Simmons reports via his Twitter page, "Tiger woods is doing something AMAZING!!!!"
"I heard tiger woods donating to send a cargo plane with a mobile hospital out there. Keep ur prayers high!," Russell Tweeted yesterday.
If he is indeed lending support as Russell says, Tiger isn't the first public figure to reach out to the impoverished country which was hit hard by a 7.0 magnitude earthquake on Tuesday.
Celebs have been helping out as much as possible, donating time and items needed for emergency response.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie donated $1 million toward Haiti earthquake relief.
The disgraced golfer must have felt it was time to resurface in the wake of the natural disaster. However, it might take more than his humanitarian efforts to return to the good graces of his wife, family and the American pubic.

Despite his post-scandal reputation, if Russell's reports are true it is a positive step in the right direction for Tiger.
