As fans have lined up for days in anticipation of the The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn panel at the Comic-Con International convention in San Diego, tragedy has sadly struck.
A Twilight fan has been killed while waiting in line in the hopes of meeting Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson and the rest of the Twilight cast at the panel on Thursday.
According to the San Diego Union Tribune, a 53-year-old woman was camped out in the front of the San Diego Convention Center and was struck by a car and killed earlier today. According to Sgt. Ron Glass, the woman was in a crosswalk and ran across the street against a red light when the driver of a Suburu Outback struck here at 9:20 a.m. PT.
She was taken to the hospital, bleeding from her head, but soon passed away.
