Aaron Carter’s messy breakup is getting worse by the minute.
Earlier this week, the 33-year-old announced on Twitter that he and his former fiancée Melanie Martin had called things off — just one week after welcoming their newborn son Prince.
Things seemed to be ugly between the pair after Carter went on a Twitter rant about the whole ordeal, but it proved to get even worse after he claimed to be “trapped,” in his bedroom at his California home.
On Friday, December 3, the former teen idol posted an Instagram Story, writing: “I’m literally trapped inside my own bedroom because my ex will not leave my house.”
It is currently unclear whether or not Carter’s claims against his baby mama are serious, although he did post a follow-up IG Story featuring a tweet from an account claiming that Martin was “calling the cops from the other room” on Friday.
Meanwhile, the new dad appears to be spending time with his newborn son, as he posted a wholesome video holding the little bundle of joy earlier in the day. On Thursday, December 2, he also posted a picture cuddled up to the baby with the caption, “Daddy’s boy.”

Earlier this week, the “I Want Candy” singer divulged the details of the breakup — which apparently had something to do with an estranged member of his own family.
In his tweet on Tuesday, November 30, Carter explained that his baby mama had been in communication with his twin sister Angel, who has reportedly betrayed him in the past.
“There has been a very big lie and my sister communicating w my ex fiancé ruined everything considering she knew what angel tried to do to me in court thanks angel you ruined my family. God bless,” one of his tweets read.
“I have the most conniving deceiving family and Melanie has been lying to me the whole time communicating with my twin sister,” he continued. “And the family members who tried to put me in prison and who tried to get a conservatorship on me in court.”
As OK! previously reported, the troubled pop star appeared to be in rough shape as he was photographed laying on the driveway in front of his home while appearing to be on an intense phone call.
Martin, along with a source close to his brother, Backstreet Boys’ Nick Carter, have both denied the accusations about his family members.
