Aaron Carter 'Patiently Waiting' For His First Child, A Baby Boy, To Arrive As His Fiancée Melanie Martin Goes Into Labor
Aaron Carter is ready to become a dad.
The 33-year-old musician recently posted a series of Instagram snaps featuring his fiancée Melanie Martin as the couple prepare for the arrival of their baby boy.
On Sunday, November 22, Carter shared a video of Martin in a hospital bed before she was induced into labor.
“Here we go, I love you baby,” the singer wrote alongside the clip. “You’re so strong. I’m right by your side nothing will happen to you with me here and the great staff Nurses and doctors.”
He shared another video later in the night, writing: “Patiently waiting she took the medicine to induce her now we wait 4 hours Epidural then labor.”
“See you soon my baby boy!! Stay strong baby!!” he added in the caption.
Later, he posted another clip sharing with his followers that the baby boy — who they have already named Prince Lyric — is on his way.

“He’s coming!! Our baby boy!,” he wrote. “Thank you to this amazing wonderful staff! Keeping you posted along this journey. We love you.”
The “I Want Candy” singer previously revealed that Martin had suffered a miscarriage in 2020.
“We’re gonna give it some time, let her heal and then we’re going to try again,” he wrote after announcing the devastating news. “We both want that."
But it was all good news earlier this year when Carter announced that the pair were expecting a rainbow baby in an emotional video showcasing Martin’s positive pregnancy tests.
“We’re pregnant,” he wrote in another post, shared in March. “So blessed to have such an amazing woman. Mommy and daddy to be @missmelaniemartin @aaroncarter Let’s do this baby.”
Carter and Martin announced that they were engaged back in June, writing “Love wins #iloveyou3000 #engaged #fiance #ourlovestory,” in a celebratory post.
Just days before heading to the hospital to give birth to her baby, Martin posted a sweet sentiment to her Instagram page about “proving everyone wrong” with the pair’s relationship.
“After everything we’ve been through and everyone doubting us, we proved everyone wrong and relationships are hard and we love each other unconditionally,” the caption read. “Ridin dirty with my fiancé in the Riviera on this beautiful day.”
