Aaron Carter is back on his Instagram game after smoothing things over with his fiancée and new baby mama Melanie Martin.
After welcoming their son Prince Lyric at the end of November, the new parents announced just one week later that they were going their separate ways.
Earlier this week, the “I Want Candy” singer disappeared from Instagram after temporarily deleting his account following the messy split. At the time, Carter detailed the breakup in a Twitter rant, claiming Martin was lying to him about being in contact with his estranged sister, Angel.
But it all appears to be water under the bridge, as the coparents have now reconciled — and Carter recently resurfaced back on his socials to gush over Martin and their newborn.
In a video, posted in the early hours of his birthday on Tuesday, December 7, Carter thanked his family, friends and followers for their well wishes during “night shift daddy duties.”
“I love you @missmelaniemartin,” he wrote in the sappy caption. “Thank you for the best gift of my life no matter what we’ve been through we have pulled through you’re an amazing mother."

Martin also seemed to confirm the pair was back together, adding: “I love you my handsome” in her comment on the post.
On Monday, December 6, the “Aaron’s Party” crooner posted another sentimental post, where he seemingly acknowledged the couple’s rocky relationship, writing: “Relationships aren’t easy but we love, cherish and adore our son,” in the caption.
The reconciliation comes after Martin posted a public apology on her Instagram Story over the weekend, blaming the breakup on her pregnancy hormones.
“I just wanted to publicly apologize to my sons father @AaronCarter,” she wrote in her statement, per People. “My intentions in contacting his sister Angel were not of ill intent. I wanted to try to resolve the situation so we could all be a family. I now realize that wasn’t my place and I never should have done that.”
“I let my feelings get the best of me as I was hormonal and pregnant and would take it back if I could," her post continued, with her maintaining: "I did this out of love. I know it was wrong. I hope he can find it in his heart to forgive me.”
