Awkward! Alex Rodriguez Asks 'Where Is My Invite' To Soirée Hosted By Ex-Fiancée Jennifer Lopez's Bestie
Is Alex Rodriguez missing his ex-fiancée Jennifer Lopez? The athlete awkwardly commented on an Instagram post from Stevie Mackey — J.Lo’s bestie and vocal coach — wondering if his invite to the soirée he was throwing got lost in the mail.
Mackey shared a series of posts on Tuesday, June 29, from the bash, that he called “THE BEST TACO TUESDAY EVER??!,” showing several pals and artists attending the gathering. Lopez was at the party, but did not appear in Mackey’s videos, reported Page Six.
Having a serious case of FOMO, Rodriguez commented on a clip of singer Stephanie Ferrett performing, saying, “Where is my invite - Stevie?!” The vocal coach to the stars replied, “Anytime brother!! Haha.”
As OK! previously reported, Lopez ultimately pulled the plug on her four-year romance with Rodriguez in April — following a series of COVID-19 related wedding delays, cheating rumors and breakup reports.
“We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so,” the couple spilled in a statement at the time. “We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects. We wish the best for each other and one another’s children. Out of respect for them, the only other comment we have to say is thank you to everyone who has sent kind words and support.”
Following her split from the retired MLB player, Lopez quickly moved on with her former flame, Ben Affleck.

In late April, Lopez and Affleck — who called off their 2003 wedding — were spotted secretly hanging at the singer’s Los Angeles mansion. Then, in late May, the kindred spirits spent time together in Big Sky, Mont., where the Batman alum has a home.
In June, the Hustlers star and Affleck were spotted sharing a passionate smooch at celeb hotspot Nobu in Malibu. The duo were celebrating Lopez’s sister Lynda Lopez’s 50th birthday, and Affleck used the get-together as a chance to get acquainted with the singer’s twins, Max and Emme — whom she shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony.
A source recently spilled that Lopez and Affleck are serious about taking their relationship to the next level, and are already talking about marriage.
“This time, Ben isn’t going to let Jen get away,” a source exclusively dished to OK!. “Let’s be honest, the new relationship might technically only be a few weeks old, but in reality they are picking up where they left off. Jen and Ben both know everything about each other — the good, the bad and the ugly. They are not starting at square one.”
The insider added: “They are meant to be together and will make it official before the end of the year.”
