Chris Daughtry's daughter, Hannah, has tragically passed away.
The American Idol semi-finalist's stepdaughter — through his 2000 marriage to his wife, Deanna Daughtry —was found dead in her Tennessee home on Friday, November 13.
Following her passing, the rocker and his band have made the decision to postpone the rest of their tour to give their family time to grieve and to process the heartbreaking loss.
The band shared the sad news in a statement via Facebook. “Due to the unexpected death of Chris and Deanna Daughtry’s daughter, Hannah, all currently scheduled shows for the coming week for Daughtry have been postponed.”
“The Daughtry family thanks you for your understanding and respectfully asks for privacy during this very difficult time,” the post continued. “Further details will be made available at a later date. The investigation into this tragic death is still ongoing.”
Hannah's mother also took to social media to pay tribute to her late daughter with a series of sweet snapshots.
"My first born. I love you endlessly Hannah," she captioned the pics. "Our family would like to thank you all for the outpouring of love as we grieve the loss of our daughter Hannah. We are awaiting the autopsy results to determine how Hannah sustained the injuries that caused her death. Our hearts are broken."
Though the musician's stepdaughter didn't update her Instagram frequently, the 25-year-old shared several sweet selfies over the past 6 months prior to her death that helped give insight to her tender personality.
In a snap posted 5 months ago, Hannah wrote, "look around and love somebody the world’s been hateful long enough. #iloveyouasyouare".
The rockstar and his band was in the middle of their "Dearly Beloved" tour celebrating their sixth album at the time of Hannah's passing. Authorities have yet to release a cause of death.
