Chris Daughtry's daughter, Hannah, has tragically passed away.
The American Idol semi-finalist's stepdaughter — through his 2000 marriage to his wife, Deanna Daughtry —was found dead in her Tennessee home on Friday, November 13.
Following her passing, the rocker and his band have made the decision to postpone the rest of their tour to give their family time to grieve and to process the heartbreaking loss.
The band shared the sad news in a statement via Facebook. “Due to the unexpected death of Chris and Deanna Daughtry’s daughter, Hannah, all currently scheduled shows for the coming week for Daughtry have been postponed.”
“The Daughtry family thanks you for your understanding and respectfully asks for privacy during this very difficult time,” the post continued. “Further details will be made available at a later date. The investigation into this tragic death is still ongoing.”
