Amy Duggar Declares She's 'Focusing On All The Good' Amid Family's Abuse Drama & Josh Duggar's Upcoming Sentencing
From claims of abuse to Josh Duggar's upcoming sentencing, the Duggar family has had no shortage of trouble lately — but Amy Duggar is trying to keep the faith.
On Monday, May 16, the 35-year-old took to her Instagram Story to update fans on how she was doing amid the brood's drama, sharing, "We decided that we're focusing on all the good ... trying to."
Her mom Deanna — who is patriarch Jim Bob Duggar's sister — added, "It's been pretty tough, but you know what, we're going to make it by the grace of God." Replied Amy, "We are, we are. We have each other." The two then shared a hug.
Amy has been vocal about her disgust at her cousin Josh, who was arrested last April on charges of receiving and possessing child pornography. His sentencing will be held on Wednesday, May 25. More over, she's outraged that Josh's wife, Anna, is supporting him.
"Anna, I love you ... but you are showing women all over the world that follow you that it is okay to have an abuser in your home. Around your beautiful children," she expressed in a TikTok post. "It breaks my heart that you're sitting there allowing your kids to want 'daddy home.' The 'daddy' is not safe, he's not a safe person. He deserves to be locked up. He deserves to be away from your kids, and you deserve better."

The reality TV family also came under fire when newly released documents from 2017 revealed that Jill Duggar, who turns 30 on May 17, accused dad Jim Bob, 56, of abuse.
"I saw a whole new side to my dad once my husband and I started making decisions that were best for our family, but not in his best interest," Jill stated, according to The Sun. "Sadly, I realized he had become pretty controlling, fearful and reactionary. He was verbally abusive. Our relationship is not good. It got pretty toxic."
The mother-of-two went on to admit that she didn't feel "comfortable" being around her father, explaining, "It isn’t good for my mental health right now."
