Ariana Grande permanently confirmed her rekindled romance with Ricky Alvarez by debuting a new “I Do Love You” tattoo on her collarbone.
Grande revealed the fresh ink while performing at The O2 Arena in London on August 15. She wore a strappy pink gown with a dramatic ruffled skirt, while her glittery pink eye makeup complemented the romantic look.
The script closely resembled a tattoo Alvarez shared on his own collarbone in July 2025, via Instagram.
Ariana Grande Debuted 'I Do Love You' Tattoo

Ariana Grande’s pink performance look highlighted the delicate 'I Do Love You' tattoo across her collarbone.
Grande previously teased the tattoo in an Instagram Story. She recently also shared a post featuring Alvarez on Instagram, which further fueled dating speculation.
However, neither Grande nor Alvarez has publicly addressed the matching tattoos or their relationship.
The Pair Rekindled Their Romance After Years Apart

Ariana Grande and Ricky Alvarez’s renewed connection drew attention after years of friendship following their 2016 split.
Grande and Alvarez began dating in 2015 and ended their relationship in July 2016. Despite their split, the former couple remained in contact over the years.
Alvarez was later referenced in Grande’s hit song "Thank U, Next," in which she sang, "Thought I’d end up with Sean / But he wasn’t a match / Wrote some songs about Ricky / Now I listen and laugh."
The pair sparked fresh romance rumors in June after they were spotted having dinner together at De Nada Cantina in Austin, Texas. On July 14, TMZ reported that Grande and Alvarez were officially back together.

Ariana Grande and Ricky Alvarez Kept Their Romance Low-Key

Ricky Alvarez’s matching 'I Do Love You' collarbone tattoo mirrored Ariana Grande’s new ink in a different font.
Their renewed relationship came after Grande’s split from Ethan Slater in June. A source told People that the pair were keeping things low-key as they settled back into each other’s lives.
"Ariana has always considered Ricky a friend. She’s not held ill will against him [since their split]. Ricky is dependable, trustworthy and very supportive. Ariana feels she can be herself around Ricky," the source said.

Ariana Grande’s Eternal Sunshine Tour marked a new chapter as her relationship with Ricky Alvarez continued to make headlines.
A second source explained to the outlet that they were not rushing into another reconnection and were "just taking things slowly."
"They’re not jumping into anything serious right away, but Ari is happy to have him back in her life," the insider said.
Another source described the role Alvarez continued to play in Grande’s life.
"Ricky has always been a friend and confidant," the insider revealed, adding that Grande "really trusts him."
The source also pointed to the ease the singer reportedly felt around her longtime friend, saying, "He has such great, positive energy, makes her laugh, and she enjoys spending time with him."
