Christopher Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver enjoyed an evening together in New York City on Wednesday, November 18.
The mother-son duo were snapped in the Big Apple walking arm-in-arm. The 66-year-old journalist looked chic AF donning dark pants and a white shirt with a bright pink fuzzy jacket thrown over.
Christopher, the son of actor Arnold Schwarzenegger, flaunted his recent weight loss sporting grey pants and a blue jacket. He appears to be going along with “No Shave November” as his beard perfectly frames his face.
The 24-year-old California native began to really show signs of slimming down in October after he was snapped shirtless in Los Angeles, Calif. The celeb spawn tends to keep a more lowkey lifestyle — his Instagram is private — unlike his famous parents and siblings, Patrick and Katherine.
OK! reported the hunky University of Michigan alum made it his mission to get fit and healthy in college by implementing daily workouts and healthier eating habits. “He made it his goal to get healthy for graduation and he stuck to it, he looks great," a source close to the Schwarzenegger family dished, adding he “started working out more and making better food choices" around the time he was "gearing up to graduate”
“It’s not any kind of fad diet or crash diet, he just cut out the junk and started working out,” the insider spilled. “His dad has been a big help of course. He has all [of] the knowledge to share and as soon as Christopher showed interest, Arnold was immediately there to guide him and encourage him.”
Hitting the gym has been instrumental in forming a close bond between Christopher and the Terminator actor — who is a former champion bodybuilder. “He didn’t pressure him but he’s so happy to be able to share his passion [for fitness] with his son,” the source said of the former Governor of California. “It’s actually been great for their relationship.”
