However, there is one particular franchise Shaw has his eye on, and it's in a galaxy far far away. "I would love to be a Jedi," he says, spilling his dreams of being in Star Wars. "Or a Sith would be cool also."
For now, Shaw currently stars on TWD as Commonwealth fan-favorite Mercer, who recently made his highly anticipated debut as the orange-armor-clad apocalyptic military leader in the first episode of season 11.
As OK! previously reported, the Constantine actor recently wished his costar Norman Reedus a speedy recovery after the Ride with Norman Reedus host was forced to cancel his convention appearance after suffering a head-injury in an on-set accident.
"I pray he's alright, but I wasn't there," Shaw told OK! exclusively. "Yeah, I pray that he's okay, and I wish him a speedy recovery, you know?"
The incident occurred on Friday, March 11, and resulted in the show's final season filming schedule being pushed back a few days to allow Reedus to heal and rest. Reps have since confirmed he is home and doing well.
