When Ben Affleck isn't cozying up with former flame Jennifer Lopez, he's on dad duty!
The actor was seen picking up his son, Samuel, from swimming practice on Friday, May 14 — days after he spent the weekend with recently single J.Lo in Montana. As OK! previously reported, the duo spent time at Affleck's home in Big Sky Montana and stayed at the ultra-exclusive Yellowstone Club, where the Good Will Hunting star is a member.
And from the looks of it, Bennifer — who called off their September 2003 wedding, broke up, then got back together before ultimately calling it quits in early 2004 — certainly hasn't closed the door on a possible reconciliation. Lopez “is open to having a relationship” with Affleck, an insider dished, adding that the Latin superstar “wants to spend as much time with Ben as possible to see where this could go.”
Affleck and Lopez may be happy with where their relationship is headed; however, ex Alex Rodriguez probably can't say the same. OK! learned that Affleck had been secretly wooing Lopez, sending her love notes while she was still engaged to the athlete, with reports claiming the emails date back to February. (Lopez and A-Rod called it quits in April.)
News of Affleck and Lopez's relationship heating up was just another blow to the former New York Yankees star, who was "shocked" that his ex already moved on. "He truly thought they would be able to make it work and reconnect. He has been reaching out to J.Lo trying to meet with her and she has been very short with him," OK! previously reported.
Meanwhile, Affleck seems to be doing pretty well, as he's making time for Lopez and his children.
