'Better Call Saul' Star Bob Odenkirk Lucid After Shocking 'Heart Related Incident' That Left Him Hospitalized
Out of the woods! Better Call Saul star Bob Odenkirk is lucid and stable after suffering a shocking 'heart related incident' that left him unconscious.
As OK! previously reported, the former Breaking Bad actor was immediately rushed to the hospital via ambulance after collapsing unexpectedly while on set filming on Tuesday, July 27.
Though Odenkirk is presently in stable condition and appears to be on the mend, it was a genuine scare for his family and friends, as it was said that the actor was unconscious for hours at the hospital following his collapse.
A representative for Odenkirk made a statement to TMZ regarding the actor's health on Wednesday afternoon, July 28, assuring all that the Nobody lead is currently doing well. "We can confirm Bob is in stable condition after experiencing a heart-related incident."
"He and his family would like to express gratitude for the incredible doctors and nurses looking after him, as well as his cast, crew and producers who have stayed by his side."
The statement went on to express appreciation for everyone who took to social media to voice their support and love in the early hours of his hospitalization. "The Odenkirks would also like to thank everyone for the outpouring of well wishes and ask for their privacy at this time as Bob works on his recovery.”

Fans and actors alike were in shock at the news of Odenkirk's health scare, and the well wishes were nearly immediate.
As OK! reported on Wednesday, fellow Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston asked for prayers for Odenkirk in a heartfelt Instagram post. "Today I woke up to news that has made me anxious all morning [...] My friend, Bob Odenkirk collapsed last night on the set of Better Call Saul. He is in the hospital in Albuquerque and receiving the medical attention he needs."
The Malcolm In The Middle alum asked that fans "take a moment in [their] day today to think about [Bob] and send positive thoughts and prayers his way".
Friend and HBO series Mr. Show With Bob and David co-star David Cross also posted his well-wishes tweeting out, “I will share what I know when I can but Bob is one of the strongest people I know both physically and spiritually. He WILL get through this."
Odenkirk himself has not yet made a statement regarding his condition, but he is undoubtedly surrounded by friends, family, and hospital staff, assuring that he gets the care and rest that he needs to ensure a full recovery.
