Entertainment icon Betty White has sadly passed away at age 99, mere weeks before her 100th birthday.

White was a pioneer in American television. She was recognized as the first woman to produce a sitcom, Life with Elizabeth. She was known for her award-winning roles on The Mary Tyler Moore Show and, of course, as the lovable goof, Rose Nylund, on The Golden Girls.

The TV legend was dubbed "the first lady of game shows" and became the first woman to receive an Emmy Award for Outstanding Game Show Host in 1983 for the show Just Men!.

White accomplished so much in her lifetime and was beloved by millions of people around the world. Yet, she remained so humble and outright hilarious. From her love of gummy bears, vodka and roasting her friends, the trailblazer was someone we all wanted to sit down and have a drink with.

She said it herself. White made us LOL when talking to late-night host George Lopez. The actress said she loves to stay busy and called herself a "work wh**e," in that she doesn't turn down jobs.

White completely roasted her friend, 'The Proposal' costar Sandra Bullock, when accepting her SAG Lifetime Achievement Award.

White loves to throw down some vodka. "Nothing better than sharing a drink with a fan — if you see me out at the club, just tell the bartender to put it on my tab #DrinksAreOnMe," she tweeted in 2016.
