A medical expert claimed former President Bill Clinton faces heightened risks for "very serious" cardiac issues due to the severe psychological stress of public scrutiny over his past ties to dead child predator Jeffrey Epstein.
Dr. Stuart Fischer, an internal medicine doctor and author of The Park Avenue Diet, warned that Clinton, who turned 80 on Wednesday, August 19, may deal with cardiac risks due to the public fallout over his past association with Epstein, pointing to a portable defibrillator Clinton was spotted carrying as an indicator of potential life-threatening heart arrhythmias.
The former POTUS stated under oath during a closed-door deposition with the House Oversight Committee in February that he "saw nothing" and "did nothing wrong" regarding his past acquaintance Epstein, maintaining he did not know about the financier's crimes.

Bill Clinton testified that he didn't witness any of Jeffrey Epstein's crimes.
"This is very serious because the arrhythmia can come out of nowhere," he said. "Psychological stress has a very direct effect on the human heart."
"If you miss ventricular fibrillation, the window of opportunity where you must hopefully treat it is very small – and the person can die immediately," Fischer continued. "It can happen at any second."
The discussion arose after Clinton was seen traveling in August 2025 with a medical bag containing a portable defibrillator around the time he faced intense public pressure and a subpoena to testify regarding his historical ties to Epstein.
Inside Bill Clinton's Health Woes

The ex-president was seen carrying a portable defibrillator last year.
The 42nd POTUS underwent quadruple bypass surgery in 2004 and had a follow-up procedure in 2010 to place two coronary stents in a blocked artery. He was hospitalized in 2021 for a severe urinary tract infection that developed into sepsis.

Bill Clinton Supported the Release of the Epstein Files

Bill Clinton testified in front of the House Oversight Committee about his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.
The House Oversight Committee subpoenaed Clinton to appear for a deposition revolving around his affiliation with Epstein on August 5, 2025. The hearing took place in February 2026.
He accused the GOP of using him as a "prop" and demanded that the court proceedings be made public.
"I have called for the full release of the Epstein files. I have provided a sworn statement of what I know. And just this week, I’ve agreed to appear in person before the committee. But it’s still not enough for Republicans on the House Oversight Committee," Clinton wrote via X.

A medical expert said the dress from the drama could take a toll on the 80-year-old's health.
"I will not sit idly as they use me as a prop in a closed-door kangaroo court by a Republican Party running scared," he claimed. "If they want answers, let’s stop the games & do this the right way: in a public hearing, where the American people can see for themselves what this is really about."
The former president maintains an active public schedule despite managing long-term cardiac conditions and past health scares.
He continues to make occasional public appearances, though observers have noted ongoing focus on his health, including a sighting with a portable cardiac defibrillator and a minor medical checkup for a fever in late 2024.
