Love is in the air.
They've managed to keep their one-year romance hush-hush, and a source tells OK! it won't be long until Anna Kendrick and Bill Hader take the next step in their relationship.
The duo, who both starred in the 2019 holiday movie Noelle, reportedly hooked up shortly after the Pitch Perfect alum, 36, quietly split from her longtime cinematographer boyfriend, Ben Richardson, in 2020.
“Anna and Bill were strictly friends during the shoot, but they really hit it off,” the source dishes. The Saturday Night Live vet, 43 — who ended his 12-year marriage to Maggie Carey, with whom he shares three young daughters, in 2018 — “obviously had a crush on Anna, but it never went anywhere because she was still with Ben.”
Now friends say the couple couldn’t be a better match. “They both have the same quirky sense of humor and are constantly cracking each other up,” shares the source, adding that the hardworking actors are completely in sync.
"A lot of people in Kendrick's circle think she’s finally found the one," a source notes. “Nobody would be surprised if Bill puts a ring on it sooner rather than later.”
A source confirmed to People that Hader — who also dated actress Rachel Bilson before splitting in July of 2020 — and The Last Five Years actress have been seeing each other "quietly for over a year" after meeting while filming 2013's To Do List, which was directed by the funny man's ex-wife.
"They met years ago. She's hosted Saturday Night Live and they've done a movie together, but they got together well after the movie," a source told the outlet.
"They are both very private people, and with the pandemic it was easy to keep it quiet," the insider said of the couple. "They're both hysterical so they must keep each other laughing all of the time. She's really, really happy."
