Brie Bella went more than a week without having a bowel movement before the incident.

At the time, Brie decided to eat at a restaurant for the first time since her injury. However, she said there appeared to be some confusion over her dietary restrictions.

“I was explaining to the waiter that … I’m gluten-free and all the things,” she described. “I felt like they understood, but then there were some things that felt a little confusing to them.”

Later that day, Brie said she was back home experiencing “severe, crazy pain” in her stomach, as she had not had any bowel movement for a week. She knew she needed to use the bathroom, but what happened next quickly became much more serious.

Brie said she eventually passed out after finally having relieved herself.

“I got a lot out, which made me pass out because of how much came out of me,” she said.

Her husband, Bryan Danielson, found her and carried her to bed before calling 911. Brie said she was barely “coherent” at the time.

Brie Bella said she passed out after finally using the bathroom and was taken to the hospital by ambulance.

Brie recalled waking up somewhat as responders arrived, but the situation became even more embarrassing from there.

“I was just taking a s--- and this all goes down,” she recalled. “So the EMTs come in and I kind of am waking up a little bit, but I guess I had to use the restroom…Anyway, long story short, I s--- my pants but did not know it.”

The paramedics then moved Brie from a wheelchair onto a stretcher before taking her to the hospital. Bryan reportedly urged them to be careful because she was still recovering from her broken scapula.

Things became particularly awkward once Brie regained consciousness inside the ambulance.

“All of a sudden I kind of wake up and I’m like, ‘Oh it smells like s---,’” Brie recalled. “I look at [the paramedics], and I go, ‘Did I s--- my pants?’ They go, ‘You did, but it’s OK.’”

Brie Said Her Husband Helped Her Through It

The paramedics assured her there was no reason to feel embarrassed.

She continued, “And I’m getting emotional, and I’m apologizing, and they’re like, ‘stop apologizing,’ and I’m like, ‘But I can feel it.’”

The situation was also difficult for Brian, whom Brie said is “terrified of s---.”

Despite the awkward circumstances, he stayed by her side throughout the ordeal and helped her once they reached the hospital.

Doctors told Brie they needed to run tests before she could get cleaned up. After receiving treatment, however, she said her condition began to improve.

“Finally, after two IV bags and medicine, I start to feel better,” she said. “I was able to walk to the bathroom, and Bryan had to clean me. My poor husband. It was so embarrassing.”
