Chad Michael Murray Unbothered, Gives Thumbs Up As Newly Engaged Ex Sophia Bush Dogs Their Failed Marriage
As Sophia Bush is talking about her failed marriage to One Tree Hill costar Chad Michael Murray, the former teen heartthrob appears unbothered, giving the thumbs up via Instagram.
“Happy Tuesday,” the hunky actor captioned a selfie on his Instagram Story. “Day one Holiday Train,” he added, referring to the upcoming Hallmark Channel movie.
As OK! previously spilled, Bush recently declared she was done talking about her brief romance with Murray — the former flames were married for five months in 2005 — saying it wasn’t “worth” her time. "Oh, I'm not going to talk about him," the actress told Smallville alum Michael Rosenbaum on his podcast “Inside of You” on Tuesday, August 10.
She went on to blame the reason their marriage didn’t work on that she was :a very naïve 21-year-old kid" at the time. "I think lots of people do stupid sh*t before their prefrontal cortexes are fully formed and they're not until they're 26," she said, using science to back up her claims of young people not being informed enough to make rational decisions regarding marriage. "So you do the math on my timeline. I literally didn't have a whole brain."
The John Tucker Must Die star and Murray met on the set of teen drama One Tree Hill. The pair started dating in 2003, before tying the knot in 2005. As cheating rumors began to swirl, Bush asked for an annulment five months later on the grounds of “fraud.”

Following her dismissal of her fling with the 39-year-old House of Wax alum, Bush announced via Instagram that she was engaged to Grant Hughes.
"So it turns out that being your favorite person’s favorite person is the actual best feeling on planet Earth," the Chicago PD alum captioned a post of Hughes proposing in Lake Como, Italy. "Thank you to @comoclassicboats and @bottega53 for helping my favorite human plan the most incredible, moving surprise of my life. My heart. It bursts."
In his own engagement post, the hunky activist wrote: “She is my forever Favorite. This is my favorite. And our life is that we’re building because she said ‘Yes’ is already my favorite. I am SO EXCITED to do life with you, my love.”
The “Drama Queens” podcast host was first linked to the entrepreneur in May 2020. Murray got hitched to actress Sarah Roemer in 2015 and the pair share two children.
