Chelsea Handler and Jo Koy were nothing short of a picture-perfect couple at the Grammys.
The former Chelsea Lately host, 47, and her comedian boyfriend, 50, stepped out on the red carpet on Sunday, April 3, for the 64th Annual Grammy Awards where the hilarious duo — who went public with their relationship last September — stunned as they posed together for photographers before making their way into the Las Vegas venue.
Handler turned heads in a black lace off the shoulder body-hugging dress with ruffled sleeves as she let her long blonde hair down. Koy looked dapper himself in a navy two-piece suit he complimented with a pair of chic glasses.
Before taking their seats for the award show, the Uganda Be Kidding Me author was asked about what she thought of last weekend's Oscars slap that Will Smith laid on Chris Rock after the Saturday Night Live alum made a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith's bald head — a comment she was particularly displeased with.
"He was a professional — and that was a great example for all performers, all comedians, to not be reactive in the moment," Handler said of Rock's reaction to the altercation via People. "It wasn't necessary to be reactive. I think the reaction is heard now and it's appropriate, and people have really felt for him."
"I feel for him. He's an incredible guy. I love the way he handled it, and I respect him even more," the funny lady noted of the Grown Ups actor.
Handler has been on the mend after she was admitted to the hospital back in February, forcing her to cancel many dates on her Vaccinated And Horny stand up tour. Luckily for the Chelsea Does star, her man was there to nurse her back to health.
“OK, everybody, I’m safe and sound,” Handler told her followers in a health update posted to her Instagram after her hospitalization. “I’m just gonna chill out for a couple weeks to recover because my buddha came and rescued me. Right, buddha?” she said, referencing Koy in the background.
The longtime friends took their relationship to the next level last year. Since the two got together, Handler and Koy never miss an opportunity to gush over each other both in real life and on social media.
