Chris Martin & Dakota Johnson Will 'Be Married In Early 2022': Source
After four years of keeping their romance as private as possible, Chris Martin and Dakota Johnson are letting their feelings be known — and an insider claims there's good reason: They're finally getting married.
The insider tells OK! Martin, 44, has recently proposed to Johnson, 32, who "said 'yes' right away. They'll be married in early 2022."
The Coldplay frontman and Fifty Shades of Grey alum coupled up in 2017 and fell hard, fast. But while they were attached at the hip — attending A-list parties together and getting matching tattoos — they mostly stayed tight-lipped about their status.
"[Dakota] is very private about her life," revealed her mom, Melanie Griffith, "and I respect that." But this year, they proved their long-term commitment by buying a Malibu house together, and, in recent weeks, Martin has been unabashed about showing his feelings.
(The crooner called Johnson "my universe" at an October 12 London concert and joined the actress for her The Lost Daughter premiere the following day.)

There's no reason to keep things low-key anymore. According to the insider, Martin got a marriage blessing from Johnson’s dad, Don, weeks ago — and the couple has already thrown an engagement bash at their California mansion.
"The news wasn't a shock to their nearest and dearest, but there were a lot of happy tears," adds the insider. "Everyone is thrilled for them."
The How To Be Single star fueled engagement rumors last December when she was spotted with a giant ring on *that* finger. The lovebirds were first linked in December 2017, following the musician's 11-year marriage to Gwyneth Paltrow.
After welcoming daughter Apple, 17, and son Moses, 15, the co-parents announced their "conscious uncoupling" in 2014.
Despite parting ways, Paltrow has made it clear that she fully supports her ex's romance with the brunette beauty, so much so, that she previously rooted for the two to tie knot. "I love her," the blonde babe said of Martin's soon-to-be wife.
