While Justin Hartley dressed to the nines for the 27th Critics' Choice Awards, his ex Chrishell Stause watched the star-studded event from the sidelines.
The Selling Sunset star took to her Instagram Story late on Sunday, March 13, to gush over celebs such as Selena Gomez, Kristen Stewart, Serena Williams and more who stunned on the red carpet at Los Angeles' Fairmont Century Plaza.
Sharing a gallery of Gomez donning a striking red gown, Stewart dazzling in a nude shimmery number, as well as Serena and Venus Williams causing jaws to drop in their sexy silver gowns, Stause wrote: "Some of my fav pics coming out of the #criticschoiceawards Made me smile so I am sharing."
The reality star also offered a glimpse of Ted Lasso actress Hannah Waddingham looking fierce while attending the Critics' Choice Awards at The Savoy in London on Sunday night.
In another post to her Instagram Story, Stause, 40, freaked out over Lady Gaga's attention-grabbing look, as she wore a custom dark emerald green Ralph Lauren Collection gown she complimented with mega-high platform heels.
"Gaga's ability to walk in shoes like THIS in a LONG dress is mind blowing," the brunette babe quipped alongside the zoomed-in pics of the singer's shoes.
To no one's surprise, Stause didn't pay any mind to her ex's red carpet appearance with wife Sofia Pernas. Hartley and Pernas made their red carpet debut in May 2021 at the MTV Movie & TV Award after first meeting on set of CBS' soap opera The Young and the Restless in 2015.
Hartley was previously married to Stause, whom he proposed to in July 2016, for two years before moving on with the 32-year-old actress. After tying the knot in October 2017, the actor, 45, filed for divorce from his ex-wife in November 2019, with Stause finding out he filed the paperwork via text.
"He text me that we were filed," Stause recalled of being informed her marriage was over. "Forty-five minutes later, the world knew."
Not long after the celebrity couple parted ways — with the aftermath of their split being documented on the hit Netflix series — Hartley was spotted kissing his now-wife. A source noted in June 2021 that he and Pernas had been "dating for several weeks" and spent "a lot of time at his house."
Hartley and Pernas "reconnected" after the This Is Us actor's "marriage to Chrishell imploded," a source spilled to Us Weekly. “Justin and Sofia had always been flirty friends on The Young and the Restless. Their chemistry is just off the charts.”
And while Stause also eventually moved on with Selling Sunset costar Jason Oppenheim, the former flames confirmed their split in December 2021 after going public with their romance in July of that year.
As OK! reported, the reality star couple's ideas on family were not aligned, leading them to eventually part ways.
"She feels like life has kicked her down quite a few times these past years, and that's been a hard feeling," an insider previously spilled of Stause, months after Hartley and Pernas married in an intimate ceremony in 2021.
Nevertheless, the source emphasized: "Despite the public breakups and divorce, she won't let that stop her from living her life and going after what she wants," as she entered 2022, "with a blank slate and a refreshed mindset."
