Butting Heads! Christina Hall & Ant Anstead Blame Each Other For Ongoing Custody Battle
Christina Hall (née Haack) and her ex-husband Ant Anstead continue to shift the blame back and forth amid their heated custody battle over their 2-year-old son, Hudson.
The Celebrity IOU Joyride host filed for full custody in late April after claiming his ex-wife acted irresponsibly with their son by letting him get a severe sunburn. Anstead was quickly denied his request after a judge ruled he hadn't provided sufficient evidence their child was at risk in his mother's care.
"Christina really tried to work it out with Ant privately," a source spilled to Us Weekly, noting Hall was shocked by her ex's custody filing. "She was trying to keep things private and make sure they were sticking to the agreement that they agreed upon. She was being flexible with him but things got worse."
The source noted the Christina on the Coast star spoke to her lawyers because she thought Anstead wasn't following the custody schedule they already had in place.
"Her attorney sent Ant an email letting him know that they needed to stick to the custody agreement and also let him know that Christina has representation if their issues got worse," the source continued.

However, a separate source close to the Master Mechanic alum claimed it was Hall who had first attempted to change up their custody schedule "out of the blue" and requested she have Hudson half the time, as opposed to the nine days per month Anstead previously claimed she had him.
"This was conveniently timed with her new show filming in Tennessee," the source added. "Christina spent the days leading up to the filing attempting to bind Ant to an NDA rather than agree to what's best for Hudson. She was not blindsided."
As OK! previously reported, the Wheelers Dealers host also seemingly accused his high profile ex of using their son for attention on social media.
"Being a kid and capturing organic moments in the footsteps of a toddler I’m all in favour of! It’s a lovely diary to keep and look back on," he wrote on Instagram in response to a commenter who asked him if he was okay with his ex posting snapshots of their son on social media.
"But being a puppet 'used' for commercial gain and being made to perform makes my stomach sick," he continued. "The two are of course very different x x."
