Conor McGregor Spotted With Family At Christening For Son Rían Hours Before UFC Champ Broke Italian DJ's Nose
Hours before Conor McGregor broke an Italian DJ's nose, he was seen acting as a doting dad.
The UFC icon attended the baptism for his and fiancée Dee Devlin's son Rían — who the couple welcomed in May — on Saturday, October 16. The proud papa and the 33-year-old Irish pugilist also share children Conor Jr. and Croia.
McGregor and his family arrived at the Vatican in the afternoon, and went through an internal door that leads to the Choir Chapel. The religious ceremony — which is a rite of passage for Christians — was held in St. Peter’s Basilica.
Despite the joyous day, things took a turn for the fighter after he and Devlin went out that night to the prestigious St. Regis Rome hotel to celebrate their son's baptism. As OK! previously reported, Francesco Facchinetti — also known as Dj Francesco or Oz — claimed he and his wife spent the night partying with the couple, when the Irish fighter suddenly lunged at him.
"I took a punch for nothing," the DJ said in a video after the attack, insisting they were "having fun" right before the UFC Lightweight popped him in the nose. "That punch could go to anyone. My friends, my wife, or other friends."
Facchinetti then revealed he's suing McGregor — who previously got into a scuffle with Machine Gun Kelly at the VMA's — "because he is a violent and dangerous person."
The musician's wife also took to social media to recount the altercation, saying McGregor was inviting them to another party moments before he hit her husband. "Francesco flew back, fell on the table, and then on the ground. The first thing that came to mind was ‘are we kidding? Is it a show?’" she recalled.
She advised her followers to not go near McGregor if they see him on the street, claiming he is "an unstable and dangerous person."

Wearing a three-piece suit, the often feisty fighter was seen showing a more caring side, as he carried one of his sleeping children through St. Peter’s Basilica.
