In his new music video, DaBaby sang: "You a b***h, Jojo Siwa, b***h," as he held up a picture of her on his phone.
Naturally, the internet exploded with memes. Social media users instantly began to question the possible connection between the 17-year-old YouTube personality and 29-year-old rapper.
DaBaby has since explained that the apparent name drop wasn’t actually a diss at the former Dance Moms star via social media. The "Suge" crooner said the lyric "siwa" meant, "see why," and "Jojo" was a reference to his real name, Jonathan Lyndale Kirk; therefore, the lyric actually meant, "Jonathan see why."
"my 3 year old princess is your number 1 fan. I bought her every product you have out. She think she you," the rapper tweeted to the teen star on February 21. "Don’t let em trick you into thinking id ever have a problem with you. My word play just went over their heads. All love on my end shawty, Keep shinning!"
"I don’t 'Siwa' they so mad either bae," he later joked to a fan.

Jojo On Her Way
After an image of Siwa driving a Tesla and donning her signature bright colors became a meme, some users repurposed it for the DaBaby track.
A Collab In The Making?
Some users pondered if the track was a publicity stunt ahead of a collaboration between the two vastly different artists.
Social media came to Siwa's defense after the music video was released.
Beauty guru James Charles and many other users wondered why DaBaby would seemingly pick on someone "12 years young, 10 times richer, and 2 inches taller than him."
Ready To Throw Hands
After Siwa recently went public with her girlfriend shortly after she came out as a member of the LGBTQ community, many used John Cena's appearance on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon's Ew! segment as a reaction due to Siwa's quirky style.
Siwa may just nod to DaBaby in a song of her own.
