David Harbour teased a 'wild' new dynamic with Millie Bobby Brown as the former 'Stranger Things' costars reunited as father and daughter in an upcoming spy thriller.

David Harbour teased an unexpected dynamic with Millie Bobby Brown as the former Stranger Things costars prepared to reunite as father and daughter in a new spy thriller series.
"And so Millie and I, I think we wanted to bring you something with the chemistry of these two, of me and her, that will surprise you and that will be rich, and have that deep emotion, but also be just wild," Harbour told Deadline.
The 51-year-old actor and 22-year-old actress are set to star in the upcoming project from Adolescence writer Jack Thorne, following their fan-favorite relationship as Jim Hopper and Eleven on Stranger Things.

Harbour also reflected on his and Brown’s time on Stranger Things.
"One of the most beautiful things about [Stranger Things] was people love that show and they loved Hopper and Eleven. They loved that relationship. I think the guys did a terrific job on Season 5, but I just don’t think you could pay off that relationship in the way that people wanted it to pay off. I just don’t think there’s a way," he shared.
Harbour then opened up about working on the project with Brown and Thorne.
"So I’m really excited to be back with her. I love working with her. I’m really excited about Jack, I think he’s a brilliant writer," he added.

David Harbour and Millie Bobby Brown took on the roles of Matt and Rebecca Wolfe in the upcoming spy thriller.
The upcoming spy thriller marked a new chapter for Harbour and Brown as they stepped into the roles of Matt and Rebecca Wolfe.
According to the series' official description, "Disgraced FBI agent turned security expert Matt Wolfe is drawn back into the world he left behind when his estranged daughter, Rebecca — now an FBI agent determined to follow in his footsteps — vanishes on a mission, forcing him back into a field that has evolved beyond him."

David Harbour and Millie Bobby Brown Are Also Executive Producers Of The Show

David Harbour and Millie Bobby Brown also served as executive producers on the series alongside Jake Bongiovi and Robert Brown.
Harbour and Brown are also set to executive produce the series alongside Brown’s husband, Jake Bongiovi, and her father, Robert Brown, through her production company, PCMA Productions.
Harbour said he was particularly excited about the project’s themes and the opportunity to work with the production company.
"A24 is producing with us. It has a lot of stuff to say about this modern contemporary world we’re living in as well that I’m really excited to keep doing," he explained.
David Harbour Teased 'Avengers: Doomsday' Return

David Harbour was also set to return as Red Guardian in 'Avengers: Doomsday' and teased changes to his character’s relationship with Yelena Belova, played by Florence Pugh.
Harbour had several major projects on the horizon, including his return as Red Guardian in Avengers: Doomsday.
"You know that Yelena Belova [Florence Pugh] and Red Guardian have a connection. If you saw Thunderbolts*, you know how much they love each other and how much they’re trying to help each other. And Doomsday will affect that relationship," he revealed.
