An Ohio man was arrested and federally charged after threatening to murder Donald Trump and behead FL Rep. Randy Fine.

A 26-year-old Columbus, Ohio, man named Alex Miller was arrested and federally charged after sending a graphic email threatening to murder and behead Florida Republican Rep. Randy Fine while also calling for the death of President Donald Trump.
Miller is currently being held at the Franklin County Jail. He was also charged by federal prosecutors in the Middle District of Florida with one count of interstate transmission of a threat to injure.
According to court documents shared by the Department of Justice, Miller sent an email on the morning of Florida's primary election day stating he would burn down the congressman's house and murder his family, adding that Fine deserved to be beheaded.
What Did the Threat Say?

"Dear f----- piece of s--------, I cannot wait to take a trip to you [sic] lovely home and light the whole place on fire and murder you and your entire family in the middle of the night while you sleep," the message noted, per the DOJ. "I hope you disgusting Nazi f--- sleep with one eye open for the rest of your life because I will NEVER stop until your head is hanging from the rooftops of the White House. You deserve 10000 percent to be beheaded and have your body paraded through the streets. DEATH TO [VICTIM I] AND DEATH TO DONALD TRUMP!!!"
If convicted, Miller faces a maximum penalty of five years in federal prison.
Alex Miller could face five years in prison for the threats.
Fine reported the message immediately to the Brevard County Sheriff's Office, noting that the graphic nature left no doubt it was a literal death threat.
According to the DOJ, the message was sent from the email address gamestormguy3l6@gmail.com with a subject line that read, "Can't wait to snipe your head off your shoulders!!:).”
The DOJ said the message also had vulgar and antisemitic threats.

He publicly emphasized that the incident reinforces the ongoing need for increased security measures to protect members of Congress.
Fine has faced heavy criticism and accusations of bigotry for insulting a local official and making inflammatory remarks about Muslims and Palestinians.

In April 2022, Fine (then a Florida state representative) used the word "w----" to describe a female school board member during a political dispute.
During the same feud, he threatened to block state funding for Special Olympics Florida.
"If they think this will make me afraid, they are wrong," Fine wrote on X. "There is no place in our political system for this. And those who make these threats — whether to a Republican or Democrat — will go to prison for a very long time."
