Dolly Parton is sharing a positive health update after skipping the Dollywood ride opening.
In a fan video shared on social media, she appeared with butterfly wings flapping behind her, saying, "I’ve told you before, all my fans, that I’ve had a few little health issues and sometimes I get a little dizzy and I get dehydrated. And I’m dehydrated."

Dolly Parton gave fans a positive health update after skipping the Dollywood ride opening.
Apparently, because of her health issues, Parton's doctor advised her against making the 200-mile trip to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, to attend the grand opening of NightFlight Expedition, a new ride at her Dollywood theme park, on August 14.
"So my Nashville doctor has kind of clipped my wings, saying, ‘You ain’t traveling this week,’" she continued.
"So I guess if your doctor tells you, ‘You ain’t traveling this week,’ you ain’t traveling this week," she added.
Dolly Parton Said 'All is Going Well' About Her Health

Dolly Parton said in the fan clip that 'all is going well on the medical end of things.'
In the video, the "Jolene" singer further went on to say that "all is going well on the medical end of things," adding that she is still hard at work on projects like her SongTeller Hotel, Life of Many Colors Museum, and her upcoming Broadway show, Dolly: A True Original Musical.
Parton concluded the video by expressing excitement for NightFlight Expedition, promising her fans that she would see everyone "down the road."
The ride is notably a brand-new immersive indoor adventure coaster, described as a "groundbreaking new addition" to the Dollywood theme park, per People. Rides begin for the public on August 19.

Parton Canceled Her Las Vegas Residency Due to Health Issues

Dolly Parton canceled her previously postponed Las Vegas residency in May due to undisclosed health issues.
Earlier this year, the 80-year-old singer-songwriter canceled her previously postponed Las Vegas residency in May due to undisclosed health issues.
In an Instagram Reel shared with her fans back then, she said she has "still got some healing to do."
"I have some good news and a little bad news. But the good news is I’m responding really well to meds and treatments, and I’m improving every day," she said in the video.

Dolly Parton made a public appearance in June at the opening day of her themed truck stop in Cornersville, Tennessee.
She continued, "Now, the bad news is that it’s gonna take me a little while before I’m up to stage performance level because some of the meds and treatments make me a little swimmy-headed, as my grandma used to say."
Parton did make a public appearance in June, though, at the opening day of her themed truck stop in Cornersville, Tennessee.
Her sister, Stella Parton, told People that same month, "She’s doing great. She’s very philosophical about everything as well, so we’re good. And if all else fails, we make a joke about it."
