Donald Trump Leaves the Internet Puzzled With New Tousled, Brunette Hairdo

The president, 80, shocked the World Wide Web by ditching his blonde tresses and debuting a brand new brown hairstyle on Friday, September 4, during an outing at his golf club in New Jersey.

The politician's rumpled, brunette hair made waves online after he stepped off Air Force One for his weekend trip to Trump National Golf Club Bedminster.

"Trump has entered the elderly lady hair-color experimentation phase," a user wondered on X, with another person joking: “I love it. So youthful. Very Pierce Brosnan."

"Ran out of his usual dye?" someone asked, while another chimed in: "I would love to have been a fly on the wall when this glow up was discussed and decided upon."

"President Trump is Making America Groovy Again!" one quipped. "He looks horrific. Did he escape the nursing home?" a user questioned.

"The wig-makers can't keep up with Donald's changes," an individual wrote, with one commenter saying Trump "looks like an old man with dyed brown hair."

“The hair???? If I hadn’t pulled the photos from Getty Images myself, I wouldn’t have believed it," a person added on X.

Trump rarely changes up his hairdo, however, his mane was also questioned last month. During a speech at Red Rock Casino Resort and Spa in Las Vegas at the time, Trump's blonde hair looked brighter and thicker, which led viewers to think he was wearing a wig.

However, the POTUS denied the hairy allegations while addressing a crowd at the White House Rose Garden on September 3.

"For years I had to suffer with people saying, 'He wears a wig.' I don't wear a wig," he said.

The Celebrity Apprentice alum previously discussed his locks in 2018 during a CPAC conference in Maryland, admitting: “I try like h--- to hide the bald spot, folks. I work at it.”​

During a 2015 rally in South Carolina, the businessman asked a woman to come up on stage to check if his hair was real or fake. “I believe it is [real],” she said at the time. “I don’t wear a toupee. It’s my hair, I swear,” he then claimed.

According to his biographer, Michael Wolff, Trump uses a "hair kit" to maintain his signature physical appearance. On a recent episode of the "Inside Trump's Head" podcast, the author alleged Trump travels with a portable pack that is used to fix color patches on his head when needed.

"He has somebody who's following, and there have been a couple of people over — certainly over the political years — who've carried the patch kit," Wolff said. "They are next to the people who carry the nuclear codes. The maintenance of this hair is a major enterprise and has been for many years."
