Margo Martin, President Donald Trump's 31-year-old White House communications advisor, was recently seen partying in Dublin, Ireland, while taking a temporary break from her official duties.

Martin traveled to Ireland to attend the Aer Lingus College Football Classic.

On Friday night, August 28, she shared Instagram updates showing her enjoying downtime in a packed Dublin pub while the crowd sang the John Denver classic-turned-World Cup American anthem, "Take Me Home, Country Roads.”

This vacation follows a period of intense activity and a subsequent "shakeup" at the White House, which included the departure of press secretary Karoline Leavitt.

While she is one of the names being publicly floated to replace Leavitt, she is considered an outside contender rather than the clear front-runner.

On August 21, Trump explicitly floated Martin's name to reporters on his way to South Carolina. He pointed to her and asked, “Maybe Margo? What do you think of Margo?”

Margo Martin is unlikely to take over Karoline Leavitt's old job as press secretary.

Martin, frequently dubbed by media outlets as Trump's "most beautiful" or "glamorous" assistant, has built a massive social media following by giving people a behind-the-scenes look at the administration.

Before her stop in Ireland, she was also seen unwinding during a brief getaway in California. Reports indicate that her trip to Ireland was simply a period of well-deserved personal time off rather than a permanent resignation from her position.

Martin, who is in a long-term relationship with former professional lacrosse player Brock Sorensen, has worked for Trump for seven years, starting in July 2019.

Margo Martin began working for Donald Trump in 2019.

Unlike many aides who left after his first term, she is one of the few continuity figures who remained by his side through his post-presidency and into his second term.

Following his first presidency, she moved with him to Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Fla. She served as his lead press secretary and later became the deputy director of communications for his Save America PAC.

She returned to Washington, D.C., as a special assistant to the president and communications advisor for his second term.

Donald Trump has called Margo Martin 'the most beautiful photographer in the world.'

The octogenarian president publicly called Martin "the most beautiful photographer in the world" on April 29, 2025, during a rally speech celebrating his first 100 days back in office.

While addressing the crowd, Trump paused his speech to introduce Martin, calling her the "world's greatest photographer" and describing her as beautiful and shy.

Following the viral moment, tabloid and political media outlets shortened the praise, frequently branding her as Trump's "most beautiful aide" or "most beautiful assistant" in subsequent news coverage.
