Emma Heming has thrown it back to the good ol' days! The model, 43, took to Instagram on Wednesday, May 18, to share some sweet snaps of husband Bruce Willis and their young brood from years back.
"#waybackwednesday," Heming captioned one photo of the Die Hard actor, 67, holding up their young daughter Mabel, now 9, while on the beach. In another heartfelt photo, the actress can be seen staring at their little girl while pregnant with their youngest daughter, Evelyn, now 7.
The series of old family pictures comes months after Willis' family, including ex-wife Demi Moore and older daughters Rumer, 33, Scout, 30, and Tallulah, 28, announced in a joint statement that the beloved star would be stepping away from his decades-long Hollywood career due to his aphasia diagnosis.
"To Bruce's amazing supporters, as a family we wanted to share that our beloved Bruce has been experiencing some health issues and has recently been diagnosed with aphasia, which is impacting his cognitive abilities," the family sadly revealed in the Wednesday, March 30, announcement.
"As a result of this and with much consideration Bruce is stepping away from the career that has meant so much to him," the caption continued. "This is a really challenging time for our family and we are so appreciative of your continued love, compassion and support."
As OK! exclusively reported, Willis' family, especially Heming and Moore, has come together to take care of the father-of-five during this difficult time. “Demi has always had a great rapport with all of them,” the insider noted of Moore and Heming's dynamic. “And Emma couldn’t be more grateful for the way she’s stuck by Bruce’s side.”
“Demi and Emma have shared discreet conversations over the years about how to protect Bruce and keep his spirits up," the source added of the blended family.
“The family has kept Bruce’s struggle secret for some time, and telling the world wasn’t easy,” the source candidly concluded. “But Demi wanted everyone to see very clearly that they’re all in this together as a family and that they love Bruce with all their hearts. Demi’s bond with Bruce is unbreakable, and he’s lucky to have her in his corner.”
