Tale As Old As Time: Emma Watson 'All In' For 'Long-Term Future' With Boyfriend Leo Robinton
Do we hearing wedding bells? While Emma Watson may not be ready to walk down the aisle just yet, she is certainty making plans for her future with boyfriend Leo Robinton.
“Emma is so loved up with Leo and this is the happiest anyone’s seen her in a relationship by a million miles," a source spilled. "They’re so connected in every way and spend all their spare time together."
And while the lovebirds — who have been together for over a year — are head over heels for each other, they are taking their time with their milestone moments. "Emma is all in and has her heart set on a long-term future," the source explained, "but she doesn’t want to rush an engagement."
Despite trying to keep her relationship out of the public eye, rumors circulated last month that she and Robinton were engaged. The source said Watson was "a little annoyed when people started gossiping about an engagement being in the works, but that was really just a privacy thing."
Watson, 31, normally keeps a low profile, but she took to social media to set the record straight about her relationship status. "Dear Fans, Rumours about whether I’m engaged or not, or whether my career is ‘dormant or not’ are ways to create clicks each time they are revealed to be true or untrue,” the Harry Potter star tweeted on May 17. "If I have news — I promise I’ll share it with you."
Despite Watson shutting down any engagement speculation, the couple's inner circle believes she will definitely be walking down the aisle sometime soon. “Her and Leo’s friends do fully expect them to make things official at some point in the future, but they’re happy with how things are for right now,” the source said.
Watson and Robinton don't need rings to prove their love for each other, the source insisted, as they are focused on building their relationship. "The main thing for them is having love and trust for one another, and it doesn’t take a ring or piece of paper for Emma to be happy," the insider told Us Weekly.
The couple was first spotted together in October 2019 when Watson was seen kissing an unknown man outside of Gail’s Bakery in London. The following April, the Daily Mail confirmed that the man in question was Robinton, adding that the Little Women actress introduced the businessman to her parents the previous December.
The Beauty and the Beast actress opened up about her thoughts on relationships as her own made headlines last March. "The idea that relationships are supposed to be easy and it’s all supposed to be implicitly understood, and you’re just meant to get each other, it’s bulls**t!” Watson declared while speaking to Teen Vogue. “It’s impossible!”
