First Look! Amanda Seyfried Spotted As Theranos Founder Elizabeth Holmes On 'The Dropout' Set
Amanda Seyfried has been spotted for the first time as Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes for her upcoming television series The Dropout.
The Mean Girls star was seen on set with her hair pulled back and sporting a pair of dark lens sunglasses and deep red lipstick. Her outfit consisted of a long sleeve, form-fitting black turtleneck top, blue pants, and silver sandals.
It is unclear as of yet if this is an official costume for the character, but it looks shockingly similar to real-life looks worn by Holmes.
The You Should Have Left leading lady appeared to be on her lunch break in some photos, and was caught walking the set with a takeout container and a drink.

In other snapshots, Seyfried was seen wearing a flowy, oversized pink t-shirt and black face mask, followed by a dog — that appeared to be her beautiful Australian Shepherd, Finn — who seemed to follow her while she ate, hoping for scraps.
Another pic showed the Mamma Mia actress with her arms full, carrying a large white bag that read "ON MY WAY" in bold caps, a water bottle, her phone, and a pink sweatshirt.
The upcoming miniseries details the life and work of college dropout Elizabeth Homes and her revolutionary attempts to change the healthcare industry by starting her own tech company, Theranos.
Originally set to star Kate McKinnon, when the Saturday Night Live actress exited the project in February, Seyfried was cast to take over the major role.
The cast will also feature Shameless lead William H. Macy, Roseanne alum Laurie Metcalf, as well as Naveen Andrews, Stephen Fry, Michael Ironside and other popular film and television names.
The Dropout is currently filming and will air on Hulu. There is presently no official premiere date in place.
