Lemons are certainly in season!
On Monday, June 7, Dr. Jill Biden made a special appearance on Live with Kelly & Ryan to discuss the latest efforts to combat COVID-19. Amid the vaccine push, the First Lady, along with chief medical advisor to the president, Dr. Anthony Fauci, shared an update on the progress that the country has made against the pandemic and talked about the widening scope of vaccination efforts in the U.S.
"We're going to keep working to the finish line," Biden said. "Until we get to that finish line."
For her important television appearance, the FLOTUS wore one of her favorite pieces from her closet — a lemon-printed fit-an-flare dress from Oscar de la Renta’s Pre-Spring ‘21 collection. The elegant, eye-catching number is cut from bright sky-blue silk and features an impeccably pleated waist, belt detail and lady-like midi-length.
She styled the dress with a collection of pearl jewelry pieces and gold bangles.
This is hardly the first time the stylish 70-year-old has worn the fabulous fruity frock. On Thursday, April 29, alongside her husband, President Joe Biden, she was spotted wearing the same printed dress as she boarded Marine One on the Ellipse of the White House in Washington, D.C.
The couple was on their way to Georgia where the 79-year-old had an event to mark his 100th day in office and to pay a visit to former U.S. President Jimmy Carter.
FLOTUS also wore it back on Monday, March 8, when she took center stage at the State Department's International Women of Courage Award ceremony to give a speech in honor of International Women’s Day. She styled the fresh designer dress with the same matching face mask and bright yellow pointed-toe pumps.
Biden's favorite Oscar de la Renta Lemon-Print Belted Midi Dress retails for $2,890.
