Harry Hamlin Reflects On 'Tough Moment' His Mother-In-Law Lois Rinna Died: 'I Loved Her Like My Own Mother'
Harry Hamlin is reflecting on the life of Lisa Rinna's mother, Lois Rinna, following her tragic passing.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 58, sadly lost her mother on November 15, at age 93 after she suffered a stroke.
Lisa's husband, 70, recently opened up to PEOPLE about how the loss of the family's matriarch has affected their family as he explained, "Well, you know, it's a tough moment."
"Lois was so great and we loved her so much. I loved her like my own mother," Hamlin said. "She was dancing just two weeks before she passed."
The Mad Men actor reflected on when he first met the reality star's mother and how he loved her instantly. "I think she was younger than I am now," the father-of-three stated. "And from the moment I met her, I kind of wished she had been my mom."
On November 11 Lisa broke down on Instagram as she revealed that Lois was "transitioning." “Nobody tells you how to do this, there’s not a handbook, there’s never a way to be ready to let go,” the soap actress told her followers.

"We’re just not taught that death is OK, it’s never talked about, we’re never told it’s OK to let go,” the Rinna Beauty mogul shared. “It’s like a crash course all of a sudden when one of your loved ones are in this position.”
As OK! previously reported, following her grandmother's passing — Lisa's daughter Amelia Gray Hamlin announced the tragic news via her Instagram. “My guardian angel for the rest of time.. I love you so much my Lolo… you were and will always be much more than a grandma to me.. you were my best friend. My strength. My rock. My everything,” the model, 20, wrote.
"Your laughter never failed to light up any room you ever walked in. Anyone who got the pleasure to meet you was so blessed.. there will never be anyone like you," she continued. “Thank you for teaching us what it means to be a strong woman… and just like that.. you’re back with Frank.. I know they’re having a party for you.. and you are dancing your way through heaven… you’ll never be gone… ‘I did it my way..’ ‘Me too.’ 5:05 am.”
