On the prowl!
Four months after calling it quits with fiancé Joel Schiffman, Hoda Kotb is jumping back into the dating scene, spills a source, who says she’s already flirting up a storm.
Kotb, 57, “is eager to jump-start her love life, and she’s not being finicky,” the source says of the Today anchor, who split from the financier in January after eight years together.
“She’s been eyeing and chatting up taxi drivers, doormen and even strangers on the street. Hoda’s apparently done with slick city types and is looking to find an ordinary Joe.” The journalist “is also considering going on a dating app and has asked friends to set her up as well,” the source adds.
Kotb, who shares daughters Haley, 5, and Hope, 3, with her estranged ex, “was pretty devastated when she split from Joel after being together for so long, and hooking up with a sexy hunk would be a huge boost to her ego,” confides the source. "She’s looking for some good old-fashioned fun."

As OK! previously reported, Kotb first announced their split during the January 31 episode of Today.
"Joel and I have had a lot of prayerful and meaningful conversations over the holidays and we decided that we are better as friends and parents than we are as an engaged couple," she explained of their decision to part ways romantically, "so we decided we are going to start this new year on our new path as loving parents to our adorably delightful children and as friends."
Despite calling it quits, the news anchor recently reflected on the importance of their relationship and how it changed her journey to motherhood.
"I don’t think I would’ve adopted if it hadn’t been for Joel," Kotb confessed in an interview published Monday, March 21. "Having a stable relationship in that moment was really important. Once that fell into place, it didn’t seem as scary to me."
