Isla Fisher Reveals Bizarre 'Dating Ick' Following Sacha Baron Cohen Split

Isla Fisher has a really specific dating "ick" following her divorce from Sacha Baron Cohen.

The Oman-born, Australia-bred actress opened up about this hilarious dealbreaker during a new conversation with fellow Hollywood stars Leslie Mann, Anna Faris and Michelle Buteau on the @happyhouroverheard Instagram.

"I have a dating ick that happened recently," Fisher explained. "I liked somebody. His dog ran away, and he chased his dog, but instead of chasing upright, he ran low with his hands outstretched. Like a cartoon! Like the ick was growing and growing, and by the time he caught the dog, he had lost the p----."

Faris, loving the gestures Fisher was making, said, "I wanna give this a try," before getting up and acting out what the Confessions of a Shopaholic actress had described.

"I dated this guy, too big of a d---. It looked like an Ikea hook," the First Wives Club actress said. "But then he really sealed the deal when he paid for two cosmos in quarters. All of your laundry money, gone? There's no way I can fully sit and spin on this in good faith."

The Now You See Me star and Borat creator first met in 2001, got engaged in 2004, then welcomed their first child, per People.

They tied the knot later, in 2010, the same year they welcomed another little girl. In 2015, they became parents for the third time, to a baby boy.

But in 2024, their "couple goals" image came crashing down when they sadly shared that they would be divorcing. "After a long tennis match lasting over 20 years, we are finally putting our racquets down," they wrote in a statement at the time (via The Independent). "We forever share in our devotion and love for our children. We sincerely appreciate your respecting our family’s wish for privacy."

The divorce was finalized in 2025.
