Jake Paul Beats Tyron Woodley By Split Decision, Dares The Former UFC Welterweights Champion To Get An 'I Love Jake Paul' Tattoo For A Rematch
YouTuber Jake Paul won a fight against Tyron Woodley in a split decision.
The 24-year-old and the former UFC Welterweights Champion went head to head in Cleveland on Sunday, August 29 — but the fight did not end with a knockout.
Since transitioning into the boxing world, the influencer is still undefeated in what was his fourth fight. Paul has also beaten Ali Eson Gib, Nate Robinson and Ben Askren.
Paul and the 39-year-old went for all eight rounds in the match. The judges scored 77 - 75 Paul, 77 - 75 Woodley and 78 - 74 Paul.
The vlogger reportedly refused to touch gloves before the fight. Woodley rocked Paul in the fourth round, but he recuperated and moved onto the fifth round.
"He's a tough opponent, he's been boxing/striking for 20 years. It was a tougher fight than I expected. He's a good boxer, he came in shape. No hard feelings, but this feels amazing. I want to cry, but I'm too tired," Paul said after the fight, according to The Atlantic.

Woodley was not happy with the results of the match. "Me and Jake need to run it back. I want a rematch. I felt like I won," he said, per BT Sport Box Office. "I hit him and the ropes held him up. I landed more power shots."
"If you get a tattoo 'I love Jake Paul' then we will run it back," Paul dared Woodley, which the Sultan star agreed to. "Get the tattoo and we will run it back. I've got a tattoo artist here!"
Afterward, Paul was called out by Tyson Fury's brother Tommy Fury. "Jake Paul should have an easy night then so he’s got no excuses on not taking the fight," the 22-year-old said after beating Anthony Taylor on the same night. "Let’s get it on Jake Paul. I have done my bit, you do your bit right tonight, and we’ll get it on."
In June, Paul's brother, Logan Paul, took on Floyd Mayweather — but no clear winner was announced after the fight lasted all eight rounds.
