Jennifer Garner Preaches Finding Your Own 'Happiness' After Bennifer 2.0 Engagement
Jennifer Garner appears to be living her best life — and wants everyone else to do so as well!
The 13 Going on 30 actress offered sage advice to her loyal Instagram followers on Thursday, April 14, telling them they are in control of their own life and happiness. Taking to her Instagram Story to share a smiling, sun-kissed photo of herself lounging on a boat while wind blows her luscious locks in front of her face, Garner wrote: "Wisdom from Mom — happiness is your own responsibility."
"The life you're living while you wait for the grade, the college, the job, the man, is your actual life," the actress, 49, pointed out. "Decide to enjoy it and work towards your own peace and contentment."
Despite constantly making headlines due to her ex-husband Ben Affleck's highly publicized romance with Jennifer Lopez, whom he has since proposed to after the lovebirds reconciled last April, Garner appears unbothered by the pressure of the media.

The mother-of-three — who shares daughter Violet, 16, and Seraphina, 13, as well as son Samuel, 10, with The Town actor — often posts positive messages to her social media page and shares hilarious videos of her life at home, such as her cheffin' it up in her kitchen, working out and dancing wherever she goes.
The cool-as-a-cucumber celeb's heart rate doesn't even seem to go up over the fact that the father of her children is planning to wed again after the former flames split in 2015. In fact, OK! learned the actress "acted completely favorable to it [Bennifer 2.0's engagement] and even congratulated them," on the monumental milestone after they initially called off their 2003 nuptials.
Pointing out the coparents "have been broken up for a very long time and there is no reason whatsoever that she would be upset," over Affleck proposing to the global pop star, the insider added: "She is happy if he is sober and he is doing well, both of which he is and both of which are of utmost importance to JLo."
As OK! reported, Affleck went to rehab multiple times for alcohol addiction, with him admitting earlier this year he would "probably still be drinking" if he and Garner didn't divorce — a statement he later took back after coming under fire for seemingly bashing the mother of his children.
As for Garner's relationship with Lopez, the insider said they "have respect for each other as mothers and as individuals."
Given her healthy relationship with Affleck and Lopez, it's safe to assume Garner will be copping an invite to their wedding, as the source noted she will, of course, be invited: "She is a part of Ben's family and there is no reason why she wouldn't be invited. Whether or not she will go is up to her."
