Booked, Busy And Unbothered! Jennifer Lopez Is Doing 'Fantastic' Following Split From Alex Rodriguez, Says Costar Josh Duhamel
She's too busy to be upset! Jennifer Lopez's Shotgun Wedding co-star Josh Duhamel recently revealed that the "On The Floor" singer is doing "fantastic" following her breakup from longtime fiancé Alex Rodriguez.
During his Wednesday, May 5, appearance on The Tonight Show, the handsome New Years Eve actor was asked by host Jimmy Fallon what it was like working with the superstar on their new film and how she was holding up amid a very public breakup.
Duhamel told Fallon, "She’s fantastic. I’ve known her for years, and it sort of came to my attention that the job became available, and I got a chance to meet with her. It was like rekindling an old friendship with an old friend.”
Lopez and Duhamel had been shooting the film in the picturesque Dominican Republic. As to why the job suddenly "became available," OK! previously reported that the 48-year-old stepped up to the plate when troubled actor Armie Hammer made a very public exit from the film following the release of explosive DMs said to be from the Call Me By Your Name star.
Hammer was originally slated to play the role of Tom opposite J.Lo, but when scandalous (yet unverified) DMs were leaked online, depicting sexual violence and cannibalism, Hammer stepped down, saying: "I cannot in good conscience now leave my children for four months to shoot a film in the Dominican Republic."

With a feature film to keep her busy, the Hustlers actress doesn't seem to have time to be down in the dumps. What she has made time for, however, is another ex-fiancé: Mr. Ben Affleck.
OK! was the first to exclusively report that the couple once known as "Bennifer" has been reconnecting and catching up in recent days. "Ben and Jen have been talking in private a lot over the past few months, and now the world knows just how close the two of them are again," a source previously told OK!. "When things started to get bad with Alex, Jen turned to Ben for advice.”
The Argo actor has been seen multiple times discreetly going to and from the singer's home in the past few weeks, though the pair have not been snapped together (keeping things on the DL, we see!).
Rodriquez seems to be seeking the comfort of an ex as well. The former baseball pro recently attended a Boys and Girls Club Hall of Fame event with his children and ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis — even posing for a photo with her and posting it to his Instagram account.
