Mixed Messages: Jennifer Lopez Pictured Solo Hours After Dinner With Ex-Fiancé Alex Rodriguez
Flying solo! Jennifer Lopez looked radiant when she was spotted out and about following her breakup from Alex Rodriguez.
The 51-year-old was seen in Los Angeles on Saturday, April 24, hours after she had a friendly dinner with her ex-fiancé, Page Six reported.
The "Hit The Floor" singer rocked tossed blonde curls and large sunglasses. Although she was noticeably blinged down and her engagement ring was nowhere to be seen, she carried a bedazzled Starbucks cup and wore brown Timberland boots with light grey sweatpants and a cropped top.
On Friday, April 23, Lopez and Rodriguez reportedly had dinner at the Hotel Bel-Air, which is where they had their first date in 2017, before he flew back to Miami for his daughter Ella’s 13th birthday.
Lopez had just returned from the Dominican Republic, where she recently wrapped up filming Shotgun Wedding and remained in California over the weekend.
It isn't clear what the former power couple discussed over dinner, but they were involved in several ventures together throughout their relationship. However, the news that Lopez did not sign on to Rodrigeuz's deal to purchase the Minnesota Timberwolves partially fueled the split rumors.

"There still seemed to be love and respect there," a source told the outlet of the meet-up.
After weeks of split rumors, Lopez and Rodriguez confirmed that they ended their engagement and realized that they are better as friends on Thursday, April 15. "We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects. We wish the best for each other and each other’s children," they announced on the TODAY show.
Rodriguez popped the question in 2019, and the pair postponed their wedding twice due to the coronavirus pandemic; however, it was ultimately not meant to be.
Rodriguez made headlines earlier this year when he was linked to Southern Charm star Madison LeCroy, but the drama was said not to be the cause of the split. "Whether or not he has cheated doesn't matter," an insider told PEOPLE. "She won't tolerate the fear of it in the air between them."
"They both liked spending more time together as a family, but it was difficult to keep that special spark when they saw each other every day," another insider told the outlet.
A source previously told OK!, "The whole scandal was a huge embarrassment for Jennifer. She is a total control freak when it comes to her image, and cheating rumors are not a good look, even when they are not true."
"You don’t get to be the biggest star in the world without paying close attention to every detail. Alex is surprisingly naïve when it comes to celebrity and fame," the insider explained. "He doesn’t think about how every move he makes will be scrutinized and isn’t as careful as she is when it comes to social media."
LeCroy said that she never met Rodriguez in person and that all of their conversations were "innocent."
