Ronnie Ortiz-Magro's Fiancée Saffire Matos Goes Wedding Dress Shopping As His Future On 'Jersey Shore: Family Vacation' Remains Bleak
Here comes the bride!
Nearly two months after Jersey Shore star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro popped the question to his main squeeze Saffire Matos, the bombshell seems to already be shopping for a wedding dress.
Matos and gal pal Arianna Shanel hit up a store to find a dress for the big day. Shanel shared a couple stunning shots of dresses via her Instagram Story on Monday, August 16. Matos reposted a snap of a stunning lace gown with the caption “& so it begins.”
Ortiz-Magro and the brunette beauty made their relationship public in the fall of 2020. Their courtship hit a road bump in April after the reality TV star was arrested on domestic violence charges.
The Famously Single alum — who shares daughter Ariana with ex-girlfriend Jen Harley — was taken into custody on Thursday, April 22, for allegedly attacking Matos. He was later released on a $100,000 bond.
Matos stuck by her beau’s side throughout the whole ordeal, and he proposed on a beach in Southern California on Saturday, June 19.
Whether or not their upcoming wedding will make it on the small screen remains a mystery: The reality star announced he would be stepping back from the series in May.

"After talking to the team at MTV, we have mutually agreed that I will step away from the show while I seek medical treatment for mental health issues that I've ignored for too long," Oritz-Magro wrote on his Instagram Story. "My number one goal now is facing my struggles head on. This process will be difficult, but my #1 priority is to get healthy and be the best man and the best father I can for my daughter."
As OK! recently spilled, the gang of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation gathered together to film the new season — and the Bronx native was nowhere to be seen.
“Ronnie is not filming, at least not as of now,” an insider squealed. “The cast started filming a little here and there two weeks ago, but now they are all filming full force, sans Ron.”
The source added “there is no sign that Ronnie is joining” his castmates “at least not anytime soon.”
Although Ortiz-Magro’s future with the show remains unclear, fans of the hit MTV series will be elated to know that OG cast member Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi is back and filming for the new season. The feisty reality TV star announced in 2019 she was leaving the series to spend more time with her kids.
Angelina Pivarnick recently shared a snap with fellow Jersey Shore: Family Vacation stars Jenni “JWoww” Farley, Polizzi, Deena Cortese and Mike Sorrentino’s wife Lauren via Instagram as they appeared to be together to film the new season.
“Girls day 😍. What I needed for sure. Smiles , dancing , wine and cheese. 🙏🏼❤️,” she captioned a photo of the gorgeous gals.
