Sammi 'Sweetheart' Giancola & Fiancé Christian Biscardi Call It Quits, 'Jersey Shore' Alum Says She's 'Happy'
After OK! spilled that Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola and fiancé Christian Biscardi were heading towards Splitsville, the Jersey Shore alum has officially confirmed that the two have called it quits.
Giancola confirmed the wedding was off in a Q&A via TikTok on Monday, July 26. The brunette beauty was answering fan questions when asked “Are you single?” She wrote “yes” on the screen. When asked if she planned on returning to Jersey Shore, she simply responded “no.”
The breakup doesn’t appear to have dampened her spirits. When a fan asked if she was happy, she responded “YESSS!” in all caps.
OK! dished last month there was trouble in paradise between the former flames when the duo unfollowed one another on social media. The pair took it one step further and even deleted all photos of each other on their personal Instagram accounts. She further fueled breakup rumors by ditching her engagement ring in an Instagram video that showcased her partnership with a tanning mousse company in June, reported Page Six.

Giancola and the self-proclaimed car enthusiast were first linked in 2017. Biscardi popped the question two years laters.
"I’m completely overwhelmed with happiness," the former reality star gushed on Instagram at the time. "Yesterday was the best day of my life! I get to marry my other half, best friend and soulmate.❤️ I look forward to spending the rest of my life with you @_biscardi I love you!! #Fiance #MrsBiscardi💍💍💍#Stillcryingtearsofhappiness." Biscardi joked in the comments at the time, "Equally thrilled that no one is going to tell me to put a ring on it 76,000 times a day."
The exes had initially planned to wed in 2020, but were forced to postpone due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Giancola won over America as the sweetheart of the Jersey Shore, which she appeared on during its original run from 2009-2012. MTV has since rebooted the show, although the 34-year-old decided to not return. "I have chosen not to join the show this season because I am at a completely different place in my life right now focusing on my businesses and my relationship,” she said via Instagram at the time.
She infamously dated her ex-costar Ronnie Ortiz-Margo from 2009-2014.
